Our Story

 

HeatForm is the in-house brand at the company Lighthouse Pools, a UK based specialist swimming pool manufacturer and distributor tucked away by the coast in sunny Devon.

Committed to working for a greener future, HeatForm strives to innovate and bring new, premium pool products to the market which are energy efficient and keep a low carbon footprint.

Following on from the successful design of our insulated panel pool system in 2015, we recognised the need for a modern and high performing UK manufactured swim jet which met the needs of the serious athlete. After a lengthy period of intense research and development we launched Velocity in 2018.

As credit to our hard work, HeatForm’s unique inverter driven motor design was granted a full UK and European Patent in 2022 and we opened the Technical Training Centre in Witney in the same year.

The Velocity Swim has featured on a variety of BBC documentaries and the jet is now available in outlets across in the UK, Europe and India.

Timeline

  • 2010 - Lighthouse Pools established

  • 2019 - HeatForm Panel Pools developed

  • 2022 - Velocity swim jet launched in the UK

  • 2023 - Winner of New product of the year at the UK Pool and Spa Awards

  • 2023 - Full UK and European Patent received

  • 2023 - UK Velocity training centre opens in Witney, UK

  • 2024 - First export to Europe and India
